(Image credit: 505 games) What’s in the latest Nvidia drivers? So yes MS did release a workaround for when ya get auto updates of bad drivers. So you'll have it around when the next Win 10 build gets released. so DL that tool and back it up to a usb thumb drive it just seems to run better with older drivers. Works great for my old lexmark lazer printer too, as well as my old Sound card in my desktop and the conexant audio chip in my cheapo laptop and AMD crap video chip in there too.
so you can use the proper drivers you wish to use
and the tool againīut yes it'll block driver updates on the hardware you select. Only issue is when ya have a NEW version build of Win 10 rolls out. I use that all the time to keep Win 10 from not updateing my WORKING set of drivers on my Win 10 home laptop as well as my Win 10 Pro Desktop does anyone have spec info on vers 376.53? On the driver page it goes from 376.33 to 378.49 skips over it WTF is this all about? I stilll just dont understand why this driver is not listed on Nvidia's driver download page, very strange. No, it does it automatically when you use it Is there a setting in DDU software you must activate to allow DDU to turn off auto driver updates? Microsoft, What we've done to you for desserving that pain, stop making us suffering from your experiments when our system are fine !!!?ĭDU when used turns off automatic driver installs, fyi.
I start really to have the motivation of sending to Cortana all my HATE about Windows Update in Windows 10 (NOT PRO EDITION HERE) ! NO ♥♥♥♥ING OPERATING SYSTEM OF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥T STOP RE-DOWNLOADING THAT ♥♥♥♥ING UPDATE. I updated my graphics cards from the nvidia site, all is ok now. Me too I suffer from this ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥ of Microsoft. Just disable Driver updates for Win10 and do it yourself. i think i checked a box the other day to what i thought would allow windows to download custom icons for programs but i think it opened up this to happening i reviewed all my update settings to stop this from happening again Yea i know i never do thats why it caught me by suprise. Rule of thumb, don't download drivers through Windows Update. Sounds like one of the driver versions retracted by NVIDIA due to unknown reason but had remained in the Windows Update database. windows 10 has the habit of downloading the nvidia gpu driver for you. now i have to waste more of my time to get my system back to max frame rate i mean i have noticed with some of the newer driver updates that i take a performance hit so thats why i stuck with what ever the fug version i had before, cant remember, but it would be nice to see what improvments were done on this version. I read through that, but no one from nvidia chimed in so.
376.53 was released in 12/2016 which means it has been around for awhile thus should be explained on Nvidia's driver page. Has this happened to anyone else? I find it very strange because according to windows(NVIDIA Display driver update released in December 2016), vers. My update history shows the following entry: My Gtx 780 driver version was changed to version 376.53 which does not exsist on Nvidia's driver page ().
I have my windows update settings set to install just the basic security updates and to ignore updates from other microsoft products. I Noticed today that Windows 10 Pro changed my Nvidia graphics driver to a version that is not listed on Nvidia's driver download page. Windows 10 changed graphics driver to version that does not exsist on Nvidia's driver page
